Friends Trail

One of the more popular trails in Beavers Bend State Park, winding through pine forest and along the Mountain Fork River with ridge views along the way. Suitable for families and casual hikers. Confirm current trail access and conditions at the Nature Center before heading out.

Trail Tips
  • Start at the Beavers Bend Nature Center for park maps and current trail conditions
  • Early morning on the river sections offers the best scenery
  • Bring water. No facilities on trail.
Cedar Bluff Trail

Cedar Bluff Trail

A more demanding trail in Beavers Bend with ridge views over the surrounding forest. Gets steep in sections. Best for hikers comfortable with elevation gain. Check current conditions at the park before starting. Not recommended for young children.

  • Start early, especially in warmer months
  • Bring plenty of water and wear proper footwear
